flash (macromedia):
Hi on my movie iv'e got a plain old nomral static text (fontsize: 57, font:
sydnie, saying: V-1.0) with no fancy bla bla done to it at all, and ive checked
that its exactly lined up with pixels. In the editor it display fine but when i
test the movie/ publish it the text goes gay. Most of it is all right but on
the 0 the inside gets filled in the text colour and looks really naff, is there
anyway of stopping this?

Im guessing that if you are using a 57 size font it is just for a few words not
for a lengthy read so what you could do is break apart the font and save it as
a symbol

Select the font go Modify > 'Break apart' then repeat that procedure once again

Cant guarantee itll work but its worth a try

This has happened to me in the past on two occassions. The first time is when I
was trying to use Flash's bold formatting with a normal font that has no bold
char set. On another occassion, the font filled in letters like A's and P's. It
was just one of those fonts that flash didn't like. The only way I could fix it
was breaking apart (twice) and turn it into a vector (as pwiop suggested).

Yea i already tried breaking it apart and then doing again but it filled in the
middle of the '0' (zero) after having converted to vector (on the second break
apart). When i get home tonight ill try and make a new movie and see if it was
just a local problem for the movie or if it is something to do with the font.
(the font has no extra formatting like bold or inc. character space)
