Gamma on Monitor PC vs Mac

flash (macromedia): Color conversions are a big topic, bigger than Flash, bigger than the
computer monitor you are using. Much of it falls in hardware detection and
much of it falls in types and "kinds" of color conversion schemes. I won't
give you a bibliography, but I will give you a starting point. John Walker,
the inventor/startup engineer for Autocad/Autodesk has some interesting
stuff on this. Use keywords and Google to expand (and the expansion is
almost mind boggling.....)

So, I suggest you start here, just for the color part. Then extend outwards
for the hardware considerations and hardware detection routines.....

Gamma on Monitor PC vs Mac stilldrunk

Not having a MAC and only a PC this might seem naive. Is there still a big
difference in Gamma between Mac Monitors and PC monitors. I need to create a
site with some brilliant colors and I'm hoping there won't be much of a
difference in color brightness between PC and Mac. Any tips?
