flash (macromedia):
This almost certainly depends on the size of your photos and the size of
your music file. Try to keep your original graphics as small as they can be
(don't import HUGE files and size them down in Flash -- because they'll
still "weigh" a lot). Experiment with the JPEG Compression settings in your
Publish settings (File > Publish Settings). Same goes for your music.

You can certainly load your music (and even the JPGs) from external
files, but in the end, the user has to wait either for the SWF or for all
the other files, right?

Look in the ActionScript dictionary for the MovieClip class entry. This
includes everything about movie clips, and you'll find a method called
loadMovie(), which allows you to import external SWFs and JPGs. You may
want to toy with that a bit ... creating a "frame" or "shell" of a main
movie, then importing other SWFs as needed.

General Flash Structure Help SQE

Good afternoon!

I have just begun my quest to learn Flash, and so far, I have both enjoyed the
process and found it to be straight forward.

I have created a dummy flash which incorporates some text fades, some photo
movements and some morphs. The file is nearly 5MB. As I read the archives, it
sounds as though this is a bit big for Flash. Thus, my question, is there a
better process than using just one flash movie? My url is:

Thanks in advance...
