flash (macromedia): Hello,
Any attempt I make to use the Menu component causes MX2004 to crash. I've tried writing new code, along with pasting in code from MM with the same result. I'm running Win 2000 and Flash 2004 7.0.1.

I also have Flash MX installed could there be a conflict of some kind?

Was there an upgrade to the menu component to accompany the 7.0.1 update.

Do I need to alter the "mx.controls.Menu.createMenu()" line from the pasted in code?

If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Especially the chapter "Creating an application with the Menu component" could
be interesting for you. I successfully tried out the first example mentioned
there and it worked. The others didn't work so far
