I purchased a Flash template. (I'm still rather new at Flash but taking classes). It appears to me that it is not a frame by frame animation because on the timeline there are keyframes in frame 1 of the 5 layers with the little action a on a couple. I know that this calls in another movie; I am trying to figure out how to get to the starting place to edit the second movie. It's some text that comes in. I can see it in a symbol and tried editing the symbol but it still shows the same text after saving, playing movie. Also, I need to know how to get into this "second movie" so I can add more symbols.

Any assistance appreciated.

Look inside the library , no matter how deep the movie is nested , it must be there
CTRL L to open library.
