flash (macromedia): I have Flash MX, i am very new and will use it for web development and animated product feature example (for work).

May i ask if it is worth upgrading to the latest version of Flash?

If by web development you mean advanced outside data integration or complex
user interfaces, then yes it is very much worth it to upgrade. If not, MX
will probably suit you.

MX04 does not offer much for the designer/animator (upgrading from MX). JSAPI's ability to make custom plugins is about the only reason for me (fulltime designer/animator). But even still - MX still gets the job done in this department.
