flash (macromedia):
Any vector drawing programs will do the job. Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia
Freehand, and CorelDRAW would be the top three IMHO. I have all three and I
personally like Corel, and that is because I have been using it since V3 -
now on V12. Cheap is relative. Each of these will set you back a few
hundred US.

Hi, I'm looking for a program similiar to flash, except I'm not looking for all the animation and advanced tools..I really like the way Flash draws so smoothly, and how you can keep zooming in and not see pixilated lines. I haven't found any program that's anything like this, and I was wonderning if there were any programs that are similiar, with just the drawing features for a cheaper price or something. Thanks

It's like anything else, it does the job. Really just a matter for persoanal
preference and familiarity, I think.

there are many vector drawing programs - Adobe Illustrator, MM Freehand, and this one you may want to consider:

look for "Expression 3" - it's simply amazing.

there are more - a simple google search would give you enough results - good luck.
