flash (macromedia):
I make a cd in 3 languages with director mX and a movie linked in my project. For the french and the deutch part i have a lot of setvariable for flash MX including words like "tranchées" and it doesn't appear in my menu with an accent but with a Z in place of é ?
I use severals fonts, and it's the same, what can i do ?
Thanks, Lionel.

This may be a typical problem I have been posting for years now, a bug
that is simply denied by Macromedia. I had Problems like yours on Mac
OS9 and OS X with Flash 4, 5 and MX with different non-english
Languages. But to me it only appeared with PostScript Fonts Flash is
just not able to handle correctly.

It maybe also just a character coding problem, than it is not at all
Flash's fault. I have no time to explain now, but please refer to the
actionScript help about "escape" function, maybe it will help. I'll try
to get back these days
