Hi,
I asked the tech support people at macromedia if I could run the mx2004 studio on my macintosh g4 with 450mhz processor and the answer was something like, "no guarantee of stability or functionality"

I'm thinking there must be someone else out there who, like me, isn't able to spring for a new g5 with a faster processor and who tried flash mx2004 (I hope I'm spelling that right). If you've got it running on a g4 at 450mz, I would like to hear about your experience (good and bad). Thanks for your time.

Bob

Well, my fastest machine is a Pentium 4 2.6 processor with 512mb of RAM and hyper threading tecnology and 128mb on the video card. It runs MX04 ok But it hogs most of the system resources to the point where I can barely run other programs at the same time. P'shop may or may not lauch and if it does it sometimes may not open files or dialog boxes until i shut down MX04.
If i run the previous version of Flash (MX) I cann run P'shop with no problems as well as other programs. MX04 makes it pretty difficult for me to work with as I often use it with other programs. Sorry I dont have Mac - i'm sure someone here does.
