I imported a quicktime movie to flash but the sound is missing when it played. Then I created swf file dreamweaver but it doesn't play when it is opened by IE. Can anyone help me to solve them.

I've had this problem as well. I'm on a Mac. I imported digital video and quicktime movies into Flash04 and they didn't have sound. It didn't mater if I did it with sound integrated or as a separate.

Eventually I purchased QuickTime Pro ($29.99 at the Apple website) and encoded my FLVs directly from there or iMovie. Then I could import them or play them using NetStream.

I don't know if this is an option for you or will do what you want. Hope this helps.
