Here we go!
I have a movie that will run a a stand alone in projector. I want the viewer to be able to select jpg files from there hard drive and load them directly into the movie. I do not need to store the files. I assume that I can store the path if necessary locally using sol file.

I can code a loadMovie to display jpg files in a movie clip. I need to have this happen dynamicly.
In Dreamweaver there is a function that will open a browse window and allow the user to select a file.

Is there a similar tool or function for flash?

I am curious in this too... Have you found anything more out on it... I need my
flash movie to be able to create new folders on my server and then send files
to them when a user chooses those files... Just started looking into it and I
have an idea of how to use the cold fusion side of it all but not sure how to
start building the flash side...
