You can use the ink bottle tool. -Tom Unger

I am using Flash MX 2004 Pro on a Win 2k machine. How do I add lines to an existing fill? I know this is simple but I cannot just simply select the fill and then add the line color by changing it from "off" to a line color and style (referring to the Properties Inspector). Can anyone give me some pointers?

Best regards,

Try using the Ink bottle with a line color selected - works in MX

Use the ink bottle tool (hotkey S), it's located right next to the paint-bucket...this slick little tool traces a line around whatever you click on.
