in do not know what the origin of the problem so i've posted this here and in
dw-general discussion.

when i use a background in DW and flash to simulate continuity i see a
difference in background brightness i.e. the flash background is lighter and i
have to set brightness -2% to get the continuity. The background was made in
photshop its a gradient fill that i put in the background of the html page and
the flash movie for continuity. I want to find out if i can change some setting
in either flash or dw to get the backgrounds both the same so i no longer need
to reset the brightnes in the flash movie background.

all my general pc-settings are the same as when i had older flash and dw and i
did this trick for a continious background it worked then why not now

background made in PS? and you are using the same file for both DW and F? what
file type are you using? what browser

1) Flash does not handle .gif well, although I dont know if this would cause
that sort of a problem

2) Internet Explorer, being a piece of junk, does not render PNGs correctly.
In addition to not applying Alpha channel, it mutates the color slightly,
making them a useless file format for layout design on webpages

i turned the backgrounds for dw and flash into jpg's instead of png's it solved
my problem. The thing was that it's a dw issue with IE like u suggested cuase
when i changed the flash background to jpg it didnt solve my problem but when i
changed the dreamweaver background to jpg my troubles were ove

thanx for the tip

Big Abraha

p.s. I saw ur project, like it ,but on my screen the glowing white text on the
first page was hard to read (but that could be my poor eyesight) i had to look
close before i could read it. i'm certainly gonna look into this 3dmax program
u listed maybe i can make some 3d stuff to. Overall i liked it (very techno)
and veeerryyy green.
