flash (macromedia) : Flash Detection Kit and Search Indexes

I have a main page: index.aspx which has the flash detection embedded object.
It is supposed redirect the browser to a flash page or a no_flash page

Do indexers like Googlebot handle the main page correctly? Will it allow
redirection during crawling? I also put some href links in that page (visible
ones). I don't think my site is being indexed very well

Thanks

My clients webpage has the flash detection/re-direction script in the
'index/html' page and Google warned us to remove it in the next 20 days or
they won't index us.
the reason being that viewers cannot escape the site using their browser
'Back' button since it always hits the detection/re-direction page on the
way out... thus 'trapping' the viewer in the website. Google doesn't allow
that...
I'm currently trying to solve this problem because the client has a large
wedding favor site that caters people who are not internet savvy enough to
use a splash page with 'flash' and 'non-flash' choice buttons.

My feeling is we will have to set up sessions via cookies and php.
