How do I add more then One Mask on a timeline letting me reveal more and
more of the bitmap graphic?

I have made one mask to a bitmap, and on the timeline I tried to add more on
the same masklayer, but it did not seem to work very well... how do I do
this?

Place multiple layers with whatever reveal method you use into movie clip
and use that movie clip as a mask.
flash MX and MX 2004 support movie clips in mask layers.
