Try setting the playHidden property of the screen that contains the animation to false.

I am totally lost. Using the Flash MX 2004 pro screens, (either forms or
slides ), if I have animation on the screen....it starts playing before you get
to the screen. Does that make sense? Has anyone else encountered this? Is
there a way around it???
I would appreciate any input....I am about to thow this thing out the window
