flash (macromedia) : Missing content in .swf file

I have a scrolling pane that scrolls a set of images contained inside a movie
clip. I have also created buttons that take the use to a different frame of the
animation. I want each frame to have a scroll pane scrolling a different set of
images. I have created a movie clip for each set of images but when I go to any
frame except the first one there's nothing there (not even a scroll pane!).
I've made sure that the scroll content is correct, that the scroll pane has an
instance name and that each movie clip has a linkage set to export for action
script, but it still doesn't work. The scroll panes are in the original
document but aren't showing up in the .swf file. Please help because I don't
know why this isn't working.

Thanks
Lucy

This is pretty basic, so forgive me.... Do you have stop(); in each frame?

Also, it is a common mistake to accidentally make the images scroll vertically
rather than horizontally. Could be that your images went up or down rather
than side by side?

I've just double checked and all of the frames have a stop(); in them. Also
I've set the scroll pane to scroll from top to bottom rather than left to right
(the first frame is set to scroll like that as well). I don't understand why
the scroll pane is empty on all except the first frame. The first frame works
perfectly, but the others don't.
