flash (macromedia): Hi

I have a website at www.freshnewmedia.com.au and the flash is not working in Netscape 4.77 but does in IE 5. Is that just because it's an old version of Netscape or is something wrong?

you may not have the plugin for NS browser. I don't have anymore 4.7 but check it with 7.1
and it works just fine.
I look into your source code and it does not have anything that could be browser sensitive like
Wmode for example, which did not work in NS 4.7
Try to download the plugin from Macromedia , using your NS browser as upon opening it detect browser
and server the appropriate plugin .
Also I notice you have very striped object and embed tags , I would suggest using the File - Publish
feature to generate complete list of tags than just copy paste into your existing document.

This is the browser resize fix for all browsers, including netscape. It forces
all browsers to run at 100%.

download this extension from the flash extension page:

http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?view=sn110#loc=en_us&view=s
n111&viewName=Flash%20Extension&authorid=0&page=0&scrollPos=0&subcatid=0&snid=sn

Download this....... Remove Browser Margins, V1.3

This extension installs a Publish Template which allows your movie to 'bleed'
or extend to the edges of the html page.

This Publish Template will be available under the File>Publish Settings menu.

In the HTML tab, choose 'Flash Only (No Margins)' from the Template drop down
list.

It took me a long time to figure this out.
