working with screens [presentation] in Flash MX 2004, and having pasted movie
clip frames into a child screen, the movie clip is appearing on the parent
screen --- in other words, my movie clip is going up through the hierarchy
somehow --- any ideas?

Make sure that the class name property for all slides, including the presentation slide,
says mx.screens.Slide. There is a bug that will cause the class name to become blank,
resulting in the behavior you are seeing.
