flash (macromedia) : Urgent! Wmode=Trans HATES Checkboxes

I have a pretty large flash (1400pix high) that has a ton of checkboxes and
radio buttons. All of which have script attached to them for logic (ie: if
X.checkbox.value then Z.checkbox.enabled=0)...

Anyway, for some reason the mouse wheel doesnt work unless the swf's html is
set to transparent (why?). BUT If I set wmode to transparent then aprrox 1/3
down the swf (or about 25-30 components), the compoentns AFTER a certain point
stop working !? They dont highlight, click over, script doesnt effect them,
nothing. The boxes and radios before this point work fine.

Does anyone know why this is happening ?!

OR

Can I get the mouse wheel to work w/o setting to transparent ?

I took all the script out and found out it still does it. I'm thinking possibly
it is a memory issue ?! But it has no problems with the non-transparent wmode.

I made a base version of the same thing w/o all the client sensitive info
attached to this message.

Someone help PLEASE.

Ok... anyone !?

I figured out that if I set it to transparent, only the first 1/3 of the
components work... BUT if I zoom in then back out, all works FINE.

This seems to be a problem on all machines.

So, if I could just get the mouse wheel to work when its in wmode=window that
would be perfect....

I also found out that it does work.... but as soon as I add a component....
POOF... No Mouse Wheel Worky.

Someone please help,

[quoted text, click to view]

Wmode is know to be very problematic , it is never recommended for anything more than
simple ad or animation.
It lead to countless conflicts , it is very CPU intensive for no reason , eat up memory and
barely supported but any browser. Recently few join the club but only latest version, for long time
it was strictly IE on windows ONLY .
Not all users upgrade regularly , remember majority unlike designers do not require anything fancy
for surfing so lots won't be compatible with it. If not required , avoid it .
