Director. Way expensive. Look into www.swift3D.com You'll be generating
images of 3D objects but the time spent and effects are worth it. Swift3D
can generate simple objects and animation. If you need complex objects,
expect to use a true 3D program.
Version 4 of Swift3D is about to be released so you want to wait for it if
you decide to purchase it.

well, flash does not have any 3d features.
Any 3d would be normally made in 3rd party tools and imported to flash.
Tho box in particular it's easy to simulate with action script because of the way
it is equally align with all its sides , tho it is tedious to code . Anything beyond
box would be almost impossible and extremely CPU intensive.
Flash isn't' 3d tool .
Director is more what you looking for instead.

not totally sure about that though - i dont speak for erain - but i do know
the beta for version 4 has not even started - so it may be a couple more months
- it may be a good idea to get V3 and ramp up now and then make a smooth
transition to V4? it's not too expensive a program to consider that.

just a thought

I would definitely go with Swift3d, i use this app quite a lot and it is a
complete success. The software is not all that expensive either.
[L=Swift3D Website]http://swift3d.com[/L]
There are also a lot of Swift3D source files at
[L=Flashkit]http://flashkit.com[/L] if you click on "Movies" and then Swift3D.
