flash (macromedia):
in MX you could toogle on the action script helper prompt (you know what I
mean) and it would allow a newb like me some help in writing AS...but I can't
find it in 2004 professional......is it there at all...

I assume you mean Normal Mode; stop searching, has been skipped in MX2004.
