i'm trying to creat a series of images fading in and out. i'm importing JPEGS
and setting the tween right accoring to guides but it doesn't get transparent
and fade out when i change the alpha. i'm using a motion tween and following
the right steps but nothing fades. thanks.

Make sure your images are Symbols before you apply a motion-tween.
Just select the preferred object and press F8.
