flash (macromedia) : MX Pro slideshow template and preload

I've created a slide show from the template in the new MX Profesional. Since it
does not use a timeline, I cannot figure out how to put in a preloader. Seems
like you can't add a new scene or mess with the timeline. Any suggestions on a
way to create a preload. I've already created 4 shows to add to my site and
this last step is driving me up the wall. Thanks,
Lucian

I can joyfully say I have the answer.

Create a flash file with the same document properties as your slide
presentation. From the UI Components, add an instance of the Loader component,
give it an instance name, and in its parameters tell it to load the slide show
swf file. You may use a relative reference. Set the loader dimensions to match
the stage and line in up at 0,0.

On a layer below that, add the progress bar component, give it an instance
name, and in its parameters reference the loader component. Joila! When you
play it you see the progress bar until everything loads, then the slide show
plays in the loader, covering up the progress bar.
