flash (macromedia):
Hello All,

Can a flash movie "not" have a background? If I could just use white, I would,
but the artwork for the website I am doing has an inside border, so now I need
to make a flash navigation that works within such a page.

The url below opens a page with two links that shows my dilemma. The first
page has the flash nav as it should work, but you can see how the background
shows through.

The second link shows the page with just a graphic place holder, but with the
layout intact.

Any advice is certainly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
roml

Hello roml,

No such thing as a stupid question.

Go to your publish settings in Flash (Ctrl+Shft+F12). On the HTML tab go to
the Window Mode and set that to Transparent Windowless.

Publish.

Now your background color, whatever it is, will not be visible when the
Flash is laid upon the top of the HTML background. This will make your
gradient border look proper again.
