flash (macromedia) : Web browser (or other app) INSIDE flash?

Generally speaking (as in I'm not asking anybody to do my homework for me) is
it possible to create an instance of a web browser inside flash? NOt just take
a picture of a web browser and apply a bitmap to a rectangle, but an actual
real live web browser? Is there any kind of object that could be used for this?

I've got visions of opening and using normal windows applications (or at least
a web browser) whilst inside a flash-constructed 3 de environment. It'd have
quite a "cool factor." Somethign like Sun's "Looking Glass" desktop 3d window
manager. But not like the various "3d desktops" where all they do is let you
have 3d shortcuts that you wander over to, which launch plain old normal
windows.

Back in 1999, Microsoft was working on something called "Task Gallery" which
let you do just that; it was a custom build of Win2000 where they fooled the
applications into writing themselves into a bitmap in memory, and the 3d part
rendered whatever was at that location on teh appropriate floating panel. Mouse
and keyboard were sent right to the application after a 3d transform was done
on the mouse to see where it was really pointing.

So I was wondering if Flash could sort of mimic a similar behavior. A web
browser object taht could be dropped to tehstage and rotated and scaled is
really all that's needed; Actionscript could simulate a 3d environment by
appropriate transforms on the object. Better still would be a 3d plugin for
Flash hat the web browswer object could be dropped into.

If such a web browser object exists, and I haven't seen one.

Ideas?

no , there is no such thing in flash .

no , flash is way too primitive for something like that.
