flash (macromedia) : actions panel in MX2004

since my movies are usually made of 95% actionscript and 5% symbols
(so to speak), i usually have the actions panel open pretty large, with
a small space for the stage & timeline above it. now in MX2004 if
you open an .as file to work on a class, the actions panel for that
file opens in the space where usually the stage & timeline are. so
in my setup that window is pretty small. if i wanna make the action
panel of the .as file large, i'll have to minimize the actions panel of
the .fla movie, or just drag the border. very annoying if you constantly
switch between an .as file and an .fla file. is there any simple solution
to this? i wanna be able to switch between .as files and .fla files
without having to constantly change the sizes of the panels.

you could collapse the actions panel, place the .as file where the actions
panel would be. then just use F9 to toggle the actions panel on and off.
Beyond that, open the .as file in another text editor and use alt+tab to toggle
between apps ;)

not a very nice solution if you ask me. cos you still have to toggle
_twice_
every time: from one move to the other and from the actions panel to the
other file. if would have been more logical if the .as file would open
in the actions file.

hmm, no thanks ;-)
