flash (macromedia):
I would love to be able to reproduce something similar to the effect on the
following site. Can anyone tell me how they did this?

http://www.carldekeyzer.com/

skip the intro, I am interested in the scrollpane that has a 'zoom-like'
effect as well as very smooth easing.

Thanks!

You could scroll two sets of movie clips with text , one larger on top with limited view
by Mask layer or actionscript mask.

Hmm...that's interesting. Thanks for the reply.

What I would like to do is use this technique to scroll through contacts in an
address book. For the easing, I thought I might find some nice transitions
with Penner's easing, but the information that needs to go in either scrolling
movie clip will have to be dynamic. Do you think this would be possible using
something like duplicateMovieClip and attaching the appropriate contact
data/fields to each style of scrollpane? Or am I over-simplifying this!!!!

Thanks again!

Chuck

Haha...thanks again. That's exactly what I thought, in fact, I did send a
message off to the company today inquiring. It's a pretty neat effect, I'll
let you know if I come up with anything.

Chuck

It's pretty possible but with dynamic it's automatically different and of course more complicated.
Definitely too complex to type it off hand. Even if I try it still takes too many factors
under consideration to make it compatible with your project so kind of waste of effort .
Would rather not do that .
Did you consider getting in touch with the author , group94 ?
Perhaps ask for some tips .
