I just got the Flash software and downloaded it to my computer and if I double
click to open it, it doesn't work....I mean, the icon will show up for a about
1 to 2 secs and it seems like it's trying to open, but it abrupty stops and it
doesn't open at all. Of course per software requirement, my computer has been
updated with all the latest "sotware update requirement". I'm using Mac OSX.
Please help!

If this was a purchased software, then you would get more help by calling
Macromedia Support. Your description doesn't tell us anything of what could be
wrong (it could be a number of things). A Support rep can go through your
computers settings with you and check what he needs to check.

Yes, it is a purchased software and I tried to call the support line, but i was
on hold for a long time and one of the representative who answered was really
confusing me, I wonder if these tech support people are from India or
something. That's why I'm using this forum, maybe people are more helpful here
