The documentation that MM provides on localConnection is terrible. There
are no working examples shown.
I have seversal examples of localConnection on my website with source code..
http://members.cox.net/4my2dogs/flash/
I added one example today with one swf that controls the frame position of 4
other swfs on the page.
It is not instantaneous. There is a short lag as each connection is made
before it can be used. You can't broadcast using localConnection (that I
know of) so you have to connect to each external swf one at a time to send
them commands so it takes a second or two to communicate with 4 swfs.

Thanks for that info. Strange thing. The other examples are ok with
Netscape? I used to check everything with Netscape too but I kinda got out
of the habit.
I wouldn't have thought that localConnection would be affected. Maybe I
will try some alternate methods to see if it makes any difference.
thanks,

nice samples , thanks for sharing.
Tho , perhaps you could make bug report to MM , seem the one that show how to control 4 SWF does not
work in Netscape , only in IE .
Was checking just now and could not work , check he source code and looked ok , then preview in IE
for a change , was all OK . NS have some problems...
