flash (macromedia) : Imported Video has no audio

Hi,
I've never worked with video in flash before. I have embedded a .mov file and
received the error that the audio is not supported on import. I went ahead and
imported it anyway to see if it would work. The video is great, but obviously
no audio.

I am receiving the video from someone else - should I tell them to encode it
differently or in a different format?

Thanks!
Jody

As a rule, and I've done a ton of this lately, import the highest quality video
and audio you can find, and let FLASH dummy down the quality. You can also try
Quicktime Pro (as indicated above) and export and input in a full-quality AIFF
of the audio. Simple start the audio on the same frame as the video, and all
will be well!

Ask them to try different audio compression, flash does not support all formats.
You can do it as well yourself if you have QT player (pro version I believe required)
