I'm using Flash MX. I have several different scenes that have the same basic
layout, but differnt content. I have a button, that because of animation, has
20 different instances. Is it possible to swap button 2 for button 1 in one
step? I tried using the Edit Mulitple frames option, then selected all the
button 1 instances, but the Swap button becomes inactive. Does anybody have a
solution? Or, do I really have to do each one, one at a time...were talking
about hundreds of swaps.

There isn't any automated process for editing pretty much anything in flash.
All is manually and tedious .
