I have a guestbook which rolls out of my interface. However, there is amask
over it to make this possible. It seems the mask is disabling the text input
field?......When I remove the mask it works?.....Does anyone know what I can do
to get around this b/c i need the mask to show the interface properly.
ANy help would be greatly appreciated!!!

You can either use setMask() to add a dynamic mask, or embed the
fontoutlines with the input textfield. Manually masked dynamic and input
fields will simply not display non-embedded fonts.

John,
The dynamic mask is not an option b/c I need it at all times to mask parts of the rollout. How do I embed font outlines?....
