flash (macromedia) : cool fade in

At this site: http://www.advanceflash.com/ and just below the
logo advanceflash the G5 and cinema display fades in nicely.
Does anyone know what kind of fade or mask they are doing
or know of a site that points in the general direction? Any
help would be appreciated.

as well.

To answer this question, the effect was done in Adobe After
Effects using a glow plugin.

It's a images sequence not flash , frame by frame animation .
Definitely not done in flash , photoshop or some other tools
than imported to flash.

This is a pretty interesting site. And I know this sounds like I'm a
cheap bastard, but can someone point me to a similar site where I can
buy similar stuff for half the cost ($20 to $25 instead of $40 to $50).
