Flash Palette text readability, Dell Laptop -- flash (macromedia)

flash (macromedia) : Flash Palette text readability, Dell Laptop

I have a new Dell laptop with a hi-res display. The text charactors in the
Flash MX palettes are unreadable. I've changed the dpi, display width and
height, etc. and the palette still appears unreadable. Has anyone figured out
this problem?

I had same problem .. see ..

Dell Latitude D800 .. DPI = 96

could only solve it by copying and overwriting into Win XP an old installed
version of flash.exe .(v5.0) . from Win 2000 ..

thanks for the threads/info. Go figure? I did a system restore and the font problem fixed itself...I have no idea how...grrr
