I have Flash 5, am considering upgrading to Flash 2004. What tools are involved
to put Flash movies on my website? Do I need any special software/server tools,
other than Flash, so people can download Flash movies from my site?

You need FTP program , it allow to connect to server and upload files.
However , free online services provide browser based upload system and many programs like
FrontPage , Golive or Dreamweaver have the ftp client build in .
