I'm not sure I follow your description--you are drawing the rectangle
_in_ the hit frame of the button, yet it's going "behind" the button you are
drawing it in? This does not seem possible... Fwiw--the graphic contents of
a buitton's hit frame is never seen in the swf, it serves only to define the
active area of the button. -Tom Unger

In Flash 5, I am drawing a filled square over an intance on the hit state of a
button. The square is going behind the instance instead of over the top. And my
button doesn now work. Any solutions for this?
