Hi i'm from Mexico, my english is not good but i'll try to expose my problem:

I'm trying to develope a CD presentation, this presentation includes Video. I
use the media display component to play an external FLV file.
Until this point everything is OK, the video plays very good, i mean
excellent. My problem is when i want to play the video again, it doesn't play !
If i apply this same method for Web it plays without problems one, two, three,
times.

Hi
I've got excly the same problem. I've read the link
http://www.flashjester.com/index.html?section=faq&cPath=14_23#248 and it seams
to be solutions using the jugglor? Did you try it? Or do you have found another
solution. I'm a bit desperate to find a solution...

Thanks

Hi Lem,

Why don't you download a FREE evaluation copy and try it. You have nothing
to lose just a little time.

Hi,
Ok i've been on http://www.jugglor.com but it's only for windows. And I'm not
sure it's ok for my problem because the external FLV I'm playing and the flash
projector is already installed on the computer hard disk (I'm not running it on
a CD)

I 'll have a try anyway as soon as I find a windows.

Why do you need to have a video stream on a CD.

Could you not create a separate swf for each video and then load those swfs
into an empty movie clip. In this way you can create controls to have total
control over the video playback.

Just a thought!!

Ok that could be a solution, the reason I've used the external FLV method is
that I've often read that this sould be the best solution for video playback :
frame rate independant from the main projector and this method can handle long
video (no restriction on the video length).
In fact I have a main projector with several SWF loaded in levels: like on SWF
for every chapter. In each SWF I use the Mediaplayback component several times
: A Mediaplayback component for each external FLV.

It's really good the videos are really good I can control the video playback
ok, pause, stop, forward etc... The only thing is once a video is played It's
impossible to play it again. And this problem arrive not everytime at the same
moment...

Hi,
I've tried jugglor and it's exacly the same problem. I've compiled the FLV as well and it doesn't work better. I'm still stuck. Is it a bug of flash?

Thanks,

I have done a number of CD's using the mediaDisplay component and external flv.
I have never run in to this problem?
Are you saying the video won't loop?
or when youhit the play again button, it won't

I must be mis understanding.
