is there any way to bring in a video with a keyed out background from After
Effects into Flash? I can export a video with an alpha channel out of AE, but i
think i lose it when it is imported into Flash. Thanks for anyones help in
advance!

You can bring AE video into Flash and preserve the alpha channel.

Export your AE comp as an SWF. Then import it into your Flash document. The
alpha channel should be preserved.

This worked for me and I hope it works for you.

Flash recognizes AE and Combustion alphas just fine. Make sure that you are
selecting video+alpha in your video codec settings in the render options. i
exported my video as a PNG sequence and imported it into a movie clip. Flash
will promp you when it recognizes the image sequence.
