In my attached file I have a symbol duplicated and randomized by actionscript.
I want to make the whole thing a movie clip so that I can mask it in my main
movie. Please someone show me that way. I have headed down some dark paths, and
need to see the light.

is it not possible to select your mc hit the 'f8' then copy the code from your
first frame on the main timeline into you newly created mc BUt remove the
'_root.' from the beginning of the code?
