error is: An error occured while attempting to write to a file. If you are
logged in with a limited user account, then you may be attempting to write to
another user's folder which is not supported.

I'm not logged in with a limited user account. I'll be working and able to
save without a problem and do something that will make this error occur (I
don't know what it is....I used to think that it happened when I tried to
imports swf's and put them on the stage but this time that isn't the case) when
I try to save over an old file. The old file will then dissappear and I'm not
able to save the new one. This is inhibitting my workflow tremendously.

This must be one of the most clear questions of the last year ;-) What the

I have had the same problem in my design studio. We are using a
Windows 2k3 Small Business Edition File Server. To the best of my
knowledge this only happens when the clock on the file server and my
workstations clock get off by just a little bit. This causes a
syncronization problem and flash (as well a small handful of other
programs) can't figure out what to do. Dissappointingly this prohibits
me from saving the open file to the file server (even after
re-syncing), nor can I save the file to my local hard drive or
desktop.

Needless to say I will have some word with my Network Admin, but in
the mean time I believe if you are connected to a fileserver this may
very well be the cause of your problem. However I currently, do not
have a solution to provide.

Thus, I intend to the do all future flash work on my local drive and
sync it with my fileserver drive at the end of the day. ...I've lost
far too many hours worth of work to continue wasting time with this
problem.
