well excuse me if im usin the program for things it may not be supposed to do,
but i dont its asking much of it to make a .gif of an animation with embedded
video in it. cuse whenever i try to publish a gif the embedded video doesnt
show up.is there any way i can fix this?
what i was thinkin was there was a way in flash to just convert the video into
individual frames with out messing it up but i dunno if would help or work.

If you want others to provide you with free information, you might want
to lose the attitude... For information on the gif format try a google
search.
I don't follow your "converting" comments--flash would _need_ to convert
the video for gif export since that format simply does not support video. I
assume that MM rightly assumed few would use such a feature. Converting the
video to a sequence of images for flash import would allow you to export it
in a gif animation, but the resulting filesize is likely to be
enormous. -Tom Unger

why the f*ck not? shouldnt it just be capturing the output of the flash
animation, not converting the items in the flash animation? cuse thats just
stupid... only stupid would do that.
well in any case, isnt there a way to convert the embedded video into some the
gif can support?

isn't it so that it only exports the first frame of the video?
Maybe you should get yourself a piece of freeware: a swf to gif converter.
It's the same thing when you have MC's on your stage and you export to
gif or avi, Flash ignores anything that's not on the root timeline.

You should have paid some attention to Tom's point " If you want others to
provide you with free information, you might want
to lose the attitude... "

I would not bother usually but in this forum Tom is the last person
to be offended by some 10 years old plonk who can't even form normal
question and yet become pissy if the asnwer does not suit the mood.
Of all the people here, Tom was your really bad choice.
