- I made a small series of very short cartoons. but now i want to post em up as
one big cartoon. i tried copying frames from each cartoon to each separate
scene, and it worked perfectly for a while untill the damn symbols or tweens
got messed up and the guy in my cartoon suddenly had the main character for a
hand.i tried renaming stuff but that didnt work well,il try it agian. but how
the hell do i prevent and/or fix these mess ups?
-Also how do you apply the same music to all the scenes in a movie(i cant ad
music to each individual sceen cuse it'll probably mess up the loop and editing
it for each scene is alot of work) help!

problem is you have the same names for more than 1 symbol - when you paste into
an existing movie with the same symbol names, flash will warn you that yer
about to override exisitng symbols and promts you to choose otherwise.
you need to re-think yer symbol naming convention for each different
character. you will need to either rename and re-paste or load external SWFs
dynamically.
as for stream soundtrack across scenes - no easy way if it is continuous sound
- will have to use flash's primitive sound editing panel to splice the sound
where it ends in previous scene and where it begins in next scene - you may
need to consider avoiding scenes when using a long soundtrack that cant be
spliced without noticeably glitch.
