flash (macromedia) : getNextPage and getPrevious Page - xml template component

Can anyone advise me how to use the getNextPage() and getPreviousPage()
methods with buttons to traverse through an xml document called within
flash?

I am trying to get this working using an xml component.

http://www.ultrashock.com/ff.htm?http://www.ultrashock.com/cgi-bin/flas/search.cgi?ww=1&query=Peter%20Elst

All works fine but I do not know how to assign the methods to the respective
buttons.

My earlier post ths week, titled 'flash xml component' (5th aug) did not
receive any replies so I thought I would try and re-phrase my question.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Martin

I did not study the source but there is definitely something wrong.
I only check the source XML file from ultrashock site (cache) and from example attach
and they are Identical . The file however does not work for me at all.
Not in flash and not in the browser so my guess is there is a source FLA that
does not work , wrong file uploaded or bug in flash player that cause it.
There is allot of minor player release , some stuff works in 6.0.20 another won't
in 6.0.79 and so on.
I would just contact Peter directly. He is frequently on the forum here , tho you can get to
him via his site .

Thanks Urami

I looked at Peter's site a few times and can't find an e mail address.

There was not an fla on the ultrashock site to download just a swf which
contained some instructions. I didn't want the xml file contents itself to
show up so didn't include a textfield for it in the fla.

Do you know what name Peter comes under in the forum ?

He posts as Peter Elst
anyway , I been trying to checking out the file , been redoing it slowly to see
if there could be any thing wrong .
Seem right now to be working for me well , with many next and previous pages.
Let me pack it up and upload , tho might take a while , I'm going out first for dinner
with friends :)
