flash (macromedia) : detect if the user has Flash

I am confused?.

I want the browser to detect if the user has Flash
If so when you click on a particular link it will go to the page that has the
Flash document.
If not, when you click on the same link it will take you to a page with NO
Flash document on it.

It sounds simple, but I am unable to do it. I can not find any document
explaining how exactly to do it.

Is it in the publishing of the Flash file?
Is it in the way you create the html page?
Is it a behavior setting?

Odd, well I guess you did not look into right place.
Should check the archives of our forum , it is full of detections posts even since flash
was around and macromedia online technotes are as well providing many solutions.
For Archives :
http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search?q=group:macromedia.flash.*&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8

Macromedia Technotes :
http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash
search in the box next to "Search Flash Support"
for something like "detection"

It may be ODD to you, but not to me. I am not the best at navigating, finding,
and searching. I try, but I do not find what I am looking for all the time. I
do however appreciate this forum and all the people like yourself that can help
others and point them in the right directions. Thank you.
