flash (macromedia) : 7.2 Crashes Constantly

I have had nothing but troubles after updating to 7.2 (not that skies were blue
under 7.1). I'm running XP SP1, 1.6 Mhz, Nvidia MoBo, 1 Gb of RAM. I have
reinstalled the program twice. Nothing seems to stop the application from
crashing. In fact, even if I'm not doing anything else with the computer (no
keyboard or mouse input) and there are no other applications running, Flash
will simply just stop working (i.e "there has been an error and Flash will
close now") after a few minutes. Even more disturbing is that it seems to fail
complining info into the .swf files. For example, after restarting Flash, and
..swf seems to compile just fine, but only the very first time. Every subsequent
time the compile has errors in it.

I would really like some honest suggestions about trying something that might
hellp with my issues. I have deadlines to make and cannot have the application
crashing so often. Any other ideas on how I could try and get this application
going?

I and a co-worker have had exactly the same experience - even blue screens of
death.

Am running XP SP1 and Think I might have to do a clean install of XP to get
Flash working again.

What went wrong???
