Hi,
I tested your site on a G4 400MHz (so not very up to date). As you
described - in Netscape I don't see the transitions all the time. In IE
the transitions are always shown but in fact they tend to be a bit slow.
So the problem may be different handling of complex (see below) movies,
i.e. movies that should run faster than the computer can provide. The
plugin in IE shows all pictures, slowing the movie down. In Netscape it
keeps the speed (12 fps?) and drops frames. Well, just a guess.
When I downsize the window everything runs smooth in Netscape and IE.
How big is your movie originally created? Have you tried to embed it in
original size (no percentual scaling) to see if your roblem occurs also?
All in all it seems to me that your movie has some needs for speed of
the computer (this is felt much stronger on the Mac for unfortunately
macromedia has strongly optimized the products for windows. This is even
more sad, for all of these problems are questions of graphical
processing and the mac graphical engine is surely not inferior...)
By the way: It's always the case that scaling movies UP slows them down.
hope this heps a bit!
