flash (macromedia) : FLV file in CF website hangs w/o display

I've included a FLV file on a page that's written in CF but it's not working
and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Here's what's happening. When I preview my page in the broswer it displays
just fine but when I upload it and view over the net, in IE I get a blank space
where the movie is supposed to be with "done" in the task bar and in Mozilla I
get a "waiting for website" message that just hangs. I've published all the
..flv files and .swf files to their respective directories but still nothing.

The page is a Coldfusion page and this might be the problem but I'm not sure.
There is a CF Header which contains a small .SWF file, however, when I put the
swf file alongside the flv file they both play. I was thinking that since the
first movie plays, it might be waiting for it to end of something, but like I
said, I'm not so sure.

I'm using the fancy new Flash Video Kit and this might be the problem as well.
Again, dunno. But if anyone could look over by page and possibly give me
either the answer or how to test and things to consider, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

....more

I've also tried putting all the files in the same folder and nada.

It's not the Coldfusion. I wrote a blank html page with nothing on it but the
flash movie object and again, same thing. It plays when I preview it in my
browsers but when I upload no movie plays. Since I can see it in my browser
when I preview it, I'm guessing that I have the best version of the player
installed so Player Version should not be an issue from the website.

Anyone have any other suggestions? Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm having the same prob to the "T".

Have you figured out what's keeping it form working? Is there some weird port
the video runs over or something odd?

Anyone else figure this out?

Got the fix!

You need to add the flv as a MIME for your IIS box =)
