Yeah the current state of things is a bit confusing. There was Macromedia
Generator, then that got phased out. At which point a 3rd party developer
made JGenerator by Jzox ( http://jzox.com/ ). However this was bought out by
Macromedia and discountined by Macromedia recently, in order to promote Flex,
which at $12000, is very cost prohibitive IMO. It may be currently the only
option to create swf for Flash player 7.

For swf for flash player 6, you could try Turbine, which works with PHP and
ASP and ASP.NET. They may have a newer version out for flash player 7 now, if
that is important for you. Check them out at: http://www.blue-pacific.com/
