Hydrowizard;
The traced outline is probably not closed (zoom in for a closer look).
You might be able to fill it using the paint bucket modifiers which help
fill unclosed shapes, but if not try adjusting the outline to close it. -Tom

I'm just trying to trace a country in a jpg that I am imported into FlashMX
stage. I locked the jpg layer and created a new one. I then traced around the
outline of the country using the pencil tool set at 1px. Now I want to fill the
center of the shape.
The paint bucket tool won't let me fill inside the shape. If I select the
shape, the line traced, with the Selection Tool(V) then the Fill Color in the
Properties Panel is No Color and I can't change it. How can I fill the shape?
Thanks

Make sure also that the shape has not been grouped, if it is, you will need to break it apart (Ctrl + B) before you can fill it...
